First game ever against AS Monaco
Valencia Basket men's team has returned to practicing
this morning to start preparing for their only game of the week, the one that
will face AS Monaco in the clash that will close the seventh round of the
Turkish Airlines EuroLeague on Friday, November 11 at 9:00 p.m. This match will
be the first time that Valencia Basket faces the Monegasque team, which will
become the 105th rival of the taronja team's history in international
competitions. And Monaco in the 27th different country from which Valencia
Basket's rivals come in continental tournaments. The team led by Sasa
Obradovic arrives at La Fonteta in great shape, as co-leader of the Turkish
Airlines EuroLeague, leader of the French League, with the top scorer in the
competition in its roster (Mike James, with 21,3 points per game) and has
won 7 of the 8 official games he has played as a visitor this season.
